Places that shouldn't be missed while visiting Nepal

Tilicho Lake

Pokhara

Upper Mustang

Rara Lake

Indra Jatra

Indra jatra is known for the celebration of God’s Indra’s day. Indra means ‘Lord of Rain’ and Jatra means ‘Procession’. This festival is celebrated by both Hindus and Buddhists. It is celebrated for about eight days. Indra jatra is very interesting festival because for the whole week people enjoy various traditional dances and witness the chariot of Goddess Kumari, Lord Ganesh and Lord Bhairab being pulled through the older parts of Kathmandu city. This festival is celebrated in the month of September and is consider as the biggest religious street festival in Kathamandu, Nepal.
The first day of the festival starts with an erection of a Long Pole, in Kathmandu Durbar Square. The pole is obtained from a forest near ‘Nala’, a small town to the east of Kathmandu. After the erection long pole there is a colourful display of mask dancing by the mask dancers.
On another event on the first day the participants visit shrines holding the lighted incense to honour deceased family members where people sing hymns as they make the tour to place small butter lamps on the way.
The procession starts with Kumari Jatra known as Kwaneya where Goddess Kumari is brought out into the street along with the chariot carrying human representation of the deities Ganesh and Bhairab.

Gautam Buddha



Gautam Buddha was born in Nepal ,place called lumbini .There is no date event of gautam Buddha born and his death. But some people says that he was born in kapilavastu in last 20 century. also  gautam Buddha is founder of Buddhism .he had make various traditional   omens, miracles, and supernatural events. He did not have any demand like no food, no sleep, no medicine and no bathing etc. He live all love and affection of the world , he didn’t say may family may son , my wife etc. but he spend entire life for the knowledge of human welfare .Now a days various monk also do so but no one   is like gutam budhaa . He have certain super natural power also called as superman.
