Everest Base Camp Trek


Laying at the base of World’s highest Peak Mt. Everest, Everest Base Camp (EBC) is highly preferred destination for the trekkers in Everest region. This camp is a primary camp where climbers use during their Everest climb. With an altitude of 5,364 meters above sea level, Everest base camp has been one of the most popular trekking route among the trekkers of all over the world.


EBC trek starts with the thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Tenzing-Hillary airport at Lukla which is considered as the most dangerous airport in the world. But the 30 minutes flight gives the spectacular landscape view which will comfortably turn you fear to excitement. After the safe landing at lukla airport the trek begins which takes around 8 days to reach EBC depending on trekking plan.


This trek offers the ravishing experience throughout the journey. Kalapatthar (5555m) is the vantage point which provides the most excellent view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse and Changtse. Beside this, Lhotse, Mt. Cho oyu, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Island Peak etc. are the other Mountains which can be seen during trek. Similarly, the tiny villages like Namchebazar, Phakding, Lobuche, Tengboche etc. and the life style of Sherpa people are worth exploring. This region is equally rich in its flora and fauna. Huge Forests of oak, rhododendron, blue pines, hemlock, bamboo etc. with different species of Herbal plants are the added attraction of this trek. Also this region is known as the habitat of animals like snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, snow leopard, musk deer etc.
